European stocks add to gains, propelled by commods 11:07am EDT

PARIS, Aug 20 (Reuters) - European stocks added to gains in late trading on Wednesday, propelled by rallying heavyweight energy and mining stocks, while recently-battered banking shares trimmed their losses. At 1502 GMT, the FTSEurofirst 300 index of top European shares was up 0.6 percent at 1,165.90 points. Full Article

MADRID, Aug 20 (Reuters) - At least 45 people were killed when a Spanair jet crashed on takeoff at Madrid airport on Wednesday, the government said, but an emergency services source reported about 150 fatalities. Full Article
